Change often relies on the demonstrated leadership of progressive minds and Trident Sustainability Group’s Principal, Tommy Linstroth, has extensive experience working with local governments to create and implement sustainability programs. He co-authored Local Action: A New Paradigm in Climate Change Policy which highlights municipal greenhouse gas emissions reductions plans and impacts.

The book, published in 2007, provides a blueprint for local governments to follow. Combining an analysis of existing federal policy with examples of successful local policy, they provide practical examples of measures that can be implemented by communities and local governments across the United States.
