The Granite Mill sits adjacent to the canal in Augusta, GA on the historic Enterprise Mill. The three-story, 15,000 square feet, mixed-use annex is composed of one floor of residential apartments and two floors of professional office space.

Granite Mill features a blend of historic renovation with cutting-edge renewable energy technologies demonstrating the ability to marry sustainable design elements with historic integrity.

The structure features a building-wide solar thermal hot water system for tenants. Enterprise Mill’s on-site hydroelectric system supplies 100% green power for all other electrical needs.

Low flow plumbing fixtures reduce water use over 30% and efficient water source heat pumps and lighting reduce energy consumption by nearly one-third. Indoor air quality is maintained through stringent construction air quality management practices combined with low-VOC paints, sealants, adhesives and carpets.
